Seth Godin - Tribes. It’s not about drawing your audience to you but about connecting them with each other. Be the centre of the connection.
Create the feeling of when you meet someone with the same interests.
Create opportunities for a group of people to gather around you. Or go to existing ones and be a part of it.
If you build bridges the right way and consistently over time you will learn a lot from it.
Curate, internalise and share ideas that bring value to your audience which you will learn from as well. This gives you an advantage in your life.
Create something that can generate that value for you as well.
If it's not designed to bring value to your users it's not going to work. Got to know who your audience is.
Stick to consistent formats and schedules for habit formation in your audience.
If there's not a clear way it can provide value to a group of people, there will be a struggle.
With an audience around you, it makes selling easier as now you're not selling to people who don't know you.
